The last ESPON Call for Proposals for Transnational Networking Activities by the ESPON Contact Point network, Priority 4 of the ESPON 2013 Programme, closed on 18 October 2013.

One proposal was submitted by a Transnational Project Group consisting of 19 ESPON Contact Points and led by the ECP from Germany.

The available budget for this call amounts to 700.000,00 €.

Results of the evaluation are expected to be tabled for the ESPON Monitoring Committee in December 2013.

Priority 4 of the ESPON 2013 Programme

(22 August – 18 October 2013)

The Transnational Networking Activities under Priority 4 of the ESPON 2013 Programme shall provide targeted transnational capitalisation, awareness rising and dissemination of ESPON results with the specific objectives of (1) involving policy makers, practitioners, scientists and young academics and (2) promote the European perspective of territorial development, competitiveness and cohesion.

Background

22 August 2013 - For this last call for proposals on TNA, the ESPON Monitoring Committee wants to boost the outreach and use of ESPON results by regional/local policy makers. The proposals should actively contribute in innovative and creative ways to advancing the capitalisation and outreach efforts of ESPON by making use of the richness of deliveries from ESPON Priority 1 and 2 projects, as well as the numerous scientific tools and publications to be delivered during 2014.

Budget

The available budget for this call amounts to 700.000,00 €.

Potential beneficiaries

Potential beneficiaries of this call are only the institutions nominated by Member and Partner States until the formal closure of the ESPON 2013 Programme that are confirmed by the ESPON Monitoring Committee as ESPON Contact Points (ECP).
