Wolfsberg - PROFECY

Each case study within the PROFECY project looks into real inner peripheral problems and by applying the theoretical concepts and analysing the critical factors and drivers in the inner peripheral processes aims to improve practical responses. The Wolfsberg area in the province of Carinthia (Austria) is surrounded by mountains and has therefore problems with accessibility leading to negative demographic development. This case study discusses, among other G30 things, integrated regional cooperation and making use of their territorial capital and cultural heritage as their main opportunities to deal with their inner peripherality.
