During an online seminar discussion “Role of cohesion policy in the Planning of Metropolitan areas - Brussels case study”, 30 participants were invited to discuss the results of the international ESPON project “METRO - The role and future perspectives of Cohesion Policy in the planning of Metropolitan Areas and Cities”. The seminar was held on March 10th 2022 and focused on the impact of the European Union Cohesion’s Policy on the development and planning of metropolitan cooperation including Brussels Capital-Region and its periphery in Flanders and Wallonia.

Lors d’un séminaire online “Role of cohesion policy in the Planning of Metropolitan areas - Brussels case study”, une trentaine de participants d’horizons différents étaient invites à discuter des résultats du projet “METRO - The role and future perspectives of Cohesion Policy in the planning of Metropolitan Areas and Cities”. Le workshop a eu lieu le 10 mars 2022 et s’est principalement intéressé à l’impact de la Politique de Cohésion de l’Union Européenne sur le développement et le planning de mise en place d’une coopération métropolitaine incluant la Région Bruxelles-Capitale et sa périphérie en Flandre et en Wallonie.

Tijdens een onlineseminar " Role of cohesion policy in the Planning of Metropolitan areas - Brussels case study" werden ongeveer 30 deelnemers met verschillende achtergronden uitgenodigd om de resultaten van het project " METRO - The role and future perspectives of Cohesion Policy in the planning of Metropolitan Areas and Cities " te bespreken. De workshop vond plaats op 10 maart 2022 en was toegespitst op de impact van het EU-cohesiebeleid op de ontwikkeling en planning van metropolitane samenwerking, met inbegrip van het Brussels Hoofdstedelijk Gewest en zijn periferie in Vlaanderen en Wallonië.
